Our second pair of IPA Mixed Packs for 2023 have touched down with two new limited-edition beers: Another Life and Mystic Shadows.

Another Life is rolling out now to all Firestone Walker markets and locations as part of a canned IPA Mixed Pack that also includes beer-fan favorites Hopnosis, Union Jack, and Mind Haze. You can find your nearest local supplier with our Beer Finder now.

Likewise, we’ve dropped freshly bottled IPA Mixed Packs to complement its canned companion. It features Mystic Shadows, which is joined by Union Jack and Hopnosis. You can conjure it up in all markets you regularly find your favorite Firestone Walker beers.

Another Life – Cold IPA

Let’s start by leveling up with Another Life — a Cold IPA that features a blend of Citra, El Dorado, Centennial, and Chinook hops. It’s one part classic citrus and pine, another part ripe pineapple and watermelon, and fully bright, blonde, and crispy.

And now, the details: Another Life is brewed in the Cold IPA style pioneered at Wayfinder Brewing in Portland, Oregon. It’s brewed with rice for a light and crisp body, then fermented at ale temperatures with our house lager yeast for a clean profile that lets the hops take center stage, while dissipating the usual sulfur compounds found in traditionally cold-fermented lagers.

El Dorado and Citra hops in the kettle and whirlpool lay down a ripe tropical and citrus fruit profile then return in the dry hop, this time joined by the classics Centennial and Chinook. Those last two editions layer on more citrus, floral, and pine notes. The overall profile is a super crisp and clean IPA with flavors of ripe pineapple and watermelon candy and hints of orange, lime, and pine.

Mystic Shadows – New Zealand IPA

Another limited beer our talented brew team conjured up: Mystic Shadows, a New Zealand IPA loaded with Nelson Sauvin, Rakau, Moutere, and Motueka hops.

But what does that all mean? Well, it means that expressive notes of white gummy bear, blue raspberry, and ethereal kiwi dankness have been cast into each sip of this magical beer.

A light malt base and fermentation with our house ale yeast provide the perfect canvas to feature these alluring and captivating varieties. This is a lighter-bodied, crushable IPA with a unique hop profile.
