For this year’s Oktoberfest, we went straight to the source. We teamed up with Mahrs Bräu, the family-owned Bamberg brewery with 356 years of history and generations of German lager know-how. Our friendship goes back nearly a decade, and this Festbier is where it finally landed: a beer built on shared respect for tradition, craftsmanship, and above all, drinkability.
We brewed it with Bamberger Pilsen malt, the same malt Mahrs Bräu uses in its own lagers, along with German Hallertau Tradition and Hersbrucker hops. A long, cold lager fermentation keeps it crisp, smooth, and remarkably drinkable, even with a little extra strength behind it.
